Lord, during these summer months, I think about the grains of sand at the Red Sea and the Israelites who complained and debated and their defeatist attitudes. If I am tasked with a seemingly impossible project, I will trust that you will provide the opportunities to unveil your will for me and will strengthen me to carry out your plan. Give me an obedient heart, so that I will not be discouraged. And give me a grateful heart to recognize that I was chosen by You to organize and execute your plan. Help me to remember that you will never leave me alone. Together, we will move forward on this journey, revealing your great love and forgiveness. Amen.
